I just finished reading most of your archives and wanted to say what a great writing style you have.
I do think, however, we may be long lost twins. My mom (who's so darn perfect it makes me want to scream sometimes) is always saying things like "This would never happen in Europe" or �It makes so much more sense the way the Europeans do this� It can drive a person crazy on occasion.
My husband and I are in the process of buying a house and I find myself unable to answer any questions the builder might ask me or make any sort of decision without consulting my mom. Isn�t it crazy the effect they have on us?
BTW�I think the hoodies sound like a fantastic gift!

I hear "You look EXACTLY like your mom" all of the time. And you're right, it really has to do with mannerisms, expressions, etc.
That said, I need to chill out and quit talking so much.

Dude, I have a picture that we had for YEARS thinking it was one of Little Me. Until my grandmother said, "Oh, I remember when we took that!"
It is worse with my sisters. Sarah (who looks so much like me that Jeff's friends, at our wedding, asked, 'Why is Hannah up there in front in blue? And when did she start playing the flute?') looks so much like me that my grandmother put a picture of her in the picture collage she gave me last on accident.

People say I look like mom. I don't. We once stood in front of a mirror and compared every last physical trait. Nothing was the same. Based on manners and voice, however , we could be twins.
I second what the others are saying. You are a fine writer. Glad I found your blog.
