Now,see?! I told you that your 30s would usher in a better-than-ever you. And you really should listen to me, because I am nearing the higher end of that decade. Your father-in-law?...do you think you would regret telling him, or not telling him, to stick it? I'll let you decide. And that cooking show? Now that's a show that I would by a TiVO for.

Thank God your arthritis hasn't kicked in and you're still able to type! Wait until you're really old like me, missy (I've got 11 mos. on you!), and you'll be reduced to "hunt and peck" with a pencil. You kids today don't know how good you have it, I tell you.

Amen on the proper fitting of clothes and shoes. I like to think, at the ripe old age of 31, that I'm past buying shoes that "probably will stretch" and then hobbling around for two weeks, waiting for the blisters to heal. I'd like to think that, but I'm probably not.

Molly turning her blog posts into a magazine column...maybe you could apply that 'regret/not regret' test to it. Because, girl, you need to start publishing these.

My boyfriend was reading over my shoulder as I read this entry and he said, "Tell her she's absolutely right about the being nice to the waiter thing." And he is a total gentleman around waiters/waitresses/small children/dogs, so I think he's a keeper. Hope you had a good birthday and thanks for the advice - it's some good stuff!

I love advice from the 30 year old. So right on the waitstaff thing! And buying clothes that fit, which I am trying to amend for myself this week.
